Senior Care Assistant

  • 4 shifts per week including every other weekend 

  • Salary + Overtime and Benefits.

Wyggeston & Trinity Almshouses provides top quality support and care services for elderly residents at our Agnes House residential care home. Originally formed as Almshouses Charities from1331, Wyggestons & Trinity has been successfully providing sheltered housing and residential care services for vulnerable older people at its present sites in Western Boulevard and Hinckley Road for almost 700 years.

The Charity is also registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide residential and respite care at our Agnes House care home and at our most recent inspection was rated as Good. 

The person:

We are looking for someone exceptional to join our team at Agnes House. They will shares our values of fairness, dignity and respect and will work with us to build upon the charity’s achievements.

We wish to employ someone you can ensure a high standard of care is provided to residents at all times, by monitoring staff, giving instruction to enhance the quality of their lives and support them to remain independent.

This position would suit an existing Senior Care Assistant looking for a new challenge in a respected and well established care home or a care assistant looking to move on their career who is able to work flexibly within the shift pattern.

A Minimum NVQ 3 or a willingness to work towards is required, and some care experience is essential.
