Wyggeston Room

You may or may not know that Wyggeston’s originally stood in the place that we now know as St Martin’s House.

We are absolutely honoured to now have a room there named after Wyggeston’s, which you can see here.

Along with this, our CEO, Chris Jones and our Master, Rev. Tony Leighton crafted a nice bit of wording for the plaque below with a brief overview of William Wyggeston and the work he did.

The Grounds at Wyggestons

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful landscape at Wyggestons. Our residents and staff, along with visitors have often said what a joy it is to see beautiful features like the gardens and the vast array of flowers.

We are delighted to say that the Charity has been awarded the Inspirational Homes Award at the Association Members Day for the Lancaster House and Cottages development.
The Chairman, Master, Andrew (our land agent) ,Malcolm (the architect) and our CEO attended the awards ceremony in Central London on 15th June, which is pictured to the right ->
The considerable work by the Governors, staff, agents and consultants in delivering these new homes, communal facilities and offices was recognised by the judges and they were glowing in their appreciation of the quality of the new Almshouses and the reception they received from staff and residents when the visited the scheme.
A huge thank you for all involved in making this possible!
