Estate Visit
Last week our residents went on a Wyggestons estate visit, they visited Wyggeston Wood and had a tour of it on the mini buses, they then went to Moto Services in Rugby, as Wyggestons own the land that the motorway services is built on, they had a talk in the Wyggestons Suite and had a lovely lunch provided for them and lastly they visited one of the farms and had a tour of that as well! The residents thoroughly enjoyed the trip as it gave them more of an insight to Wyggestons!

80th Anniversary of VE Day!
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day residents, staff and a few guests gathered together and we treated them to fish and chips (thank you once again Frydales), followed by a selection of desserts! There was then a performance from a few dancers and some of the staff and residents got up to dance as well!! A lot of work went into this event and we would like to thank everyone involved

Charities Evening!
On Tuesday 25th February we held our annual Charities Evening! It was a lovely evening where we give cheques to the charities our residents had been raising money for last year, altogether they raised a total of £12,000 throughout 2024! This was split between 4 charities: Age UK, Shelter, LOROS and the residents chosen charity for 2024, Alzheimer’s Society. A huge thank you to our residents, staff and everyone involved in the successful event! 💐🧀🍷

Christmas Meal
Our residents recently went out for their annual Christmas Meal at the Bowls Club, this year they went to Blaby Bowls Club and all had a lovely time!

Seaside Day
Our first annual Seaside Day! There were so many fun games for people to enjoy as well as a paddling pool, tombola, fish and chips and an ice cream van for our residents and their family. We got really lucky with the weather as well! We look forward to having another one next year!
